Description:

Black Office Chair Mat for Hard Floors – 120 × 90cm

Protect your workspace flooring with the  Black Office Chair Mat, designed for use beneath rolling office chairs, computer desks and gaming chairs.

Advertised at 120 × 90cm, this black floor protector creates a dedicated area for chair movement while helping separate chair castors from the floor underneath.

The mat is marketed primarily for hardwood and other hard-floor workspaces. The product title also describes it as an under-desk, low-pile rug, but suitability for carpeted surfaces has not been confirmed.

Its simple black appearance makes it suitable for consideration in home offices, study areas and gaming setups.

Floor Protection for Rolling Office Chairs

Office chairs are frequently moved backwards, forwards and sideways throughout the working day. Repeated contact between chair castors and flooring can contribute to surface wear.

The  chair mat is intended to provide a protective layer beneath the chair, making it relevant for home offices and computer workstations.

The product is advertised for hardwood floors, although the listing does not specify which other hard-floor finishes have been tested or approved.

For wooden flooring, check the floor manufacturer's recommendations before using a chair protector, particularly where surface coatings or finishes may be sensitive to prolonged contact.

Black Chair Mat for Home Office and Gaming Setups

The black finish provides a distinct appearance compared with clear office chair mats.

The product is intended for placement beneath computer desks and gaming chairs, where users may want to define the area occupied by a rolling chair.

Its advertised 120 × 90cm size can help buyers assess whether the mat will fit beneath their workstation.

Before purchasing, measure the space available beneath the desk and the distance the chair normally travels when moving away from the work surface.

Hard Floor or Low-Pile Carpet?

The main product title and structured specifications describe this  mat as a hard-floor chair mat.

However, the same title also refers to an under-desk low-pile rug, creating uncertainty about its intended floor compatibility.

The source does not describe a studded carpet backing, non-slip underside or specific carpet-pile limit.

For this reason, the product should be treated as primarily advertised for hard floors until compatibility with low-pile carpet has been confirmed.

Size & Buying Guidance

The product title identifies a mat measuring 120 × 90cm.

However, the structured specifications list a length of 331mm, width of 315mm and height of 69mm. These measurements are substantially smaller than the advertised mat size and may relate to packaging rather than the mat itself.

The actual mat thickness is also not provided.

Buyers should confirm the finished dimensions and material before ordering, particularly where the mat must fit a restricted desk area or protect a specific flooring surface.
