Description:

 Grey Office Chair Mat 150 × 90cm – Non-Slip Floor Protector

Protect your workspace flooring from rolling office chairs with the  Grey Office Chair Mat. Measuring 150 × 90cm, this floor protector combines a polyester upper surface with a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) backing designed to help keep the mat in position.

The mat is advertised as 6mm thick and is intended to reduce direct wear from chair castors while helping limit noise during chair movement.

Its dark grey finish makes it suitable for home offices, studies, bedrooms and computer workstations. The manufacturer identifies several hard flooring surfaces as suitable, including wood, laminate, tile, vinyl, stone and concrete.

Features & Benefits

150 × 90cm floor coverage: Provides a defined protective area beneath an office chair or desk.

Polyester upper surface: Described as soft, low-lint and resistant to pilling.

TPE anti-slip backing: Designed to increase friction against hard flooring and reduce unwanted mat movement.

6mm advertised thickness: Provides a textile-style protective layer between chair castors and the floor.

Noise-reducing design: Marketed to help reduce noise associated with chair movement.

Stain-resistant surface: Described as easy to maintain during everyday office use.

Cut-to-fit design: The supplier states that the mat can be trimmed to suit a workspace.

Dark grey colour: Offers a neutral finish for home and office interiors.

Polyester Surface with TPE Anti-Slip Backing

Unlike a rigid transparent plastic chair mat, this  floor protector has a polyester upper surface and TPE backing.

The polyester layer is described as soft, low-lint and resistant to pilling, while the TPE underside is intended to grip hard flooring.

This combination is marketed to help limit mat movement during normal office chair use.

The manufacturer also describes the mat as noise-reducing, although no measured acoustic performance is provided.

Floor Protection for Home and Office Workspaces

The 150 × 90cm office chair mat is intended for areas where rolling chair castors regularly contact the floor.

Its protective surface helps separate the chair from the underlying flooring and is advertised for use on hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, stone and concrete.

The product title also refers to carpet protection, but the detailed description specifically highlights grip on hard flooring. Suitability for carpeted surfaces has not been established.

For hard floors, check your flooring manufacturer's recommendations regarding TPE-backed mats before prolonged use.

Cut-to-Fit Design and Easy Maintenance

The supplier states that the mat can be cut to fit different workspace layouts.

This may be useful where a desk sits close to furniture or the available floor area is smaller than the full mat dimensions.

However, the listing does not specify recommended cutting tools or provide detailed instructions for finishing cut edges.

For routine cleaning, the manufacturer recommends using a broom, vacuum cleaner or floor sweeper. The polyester surface is also described as quick-drying and stain-resistant.

Although waterproof properties are mentioned elsewhere in the listing, the textile construction and absorbency claims make the extent of water resistance unclear.

Choosing the Right Chair Mat

Before ordering, measure the area your chair covers when positioned at the desk and when pulled backwards.

The mat's advertised 150 × 90cm dimensions provide a useful starting point, but the required coverage depends on your desk layout and chair movement.

Buyers should also confirm the finished thickness. The main description states 6mm, while the structured item height is 10mm.

The product is primarily described for hard flooring. If you need a mat for carpet, confirm compatibility before purchasing.
