Protect your hard flooring from everyday office chair movement with the  Clear PVC Office Chair Mat. Designed for home offices and workspaces, this rectangular floor protector helps reduce direct contact between chair castors and the floor beneath.

PVC Floor Protection for Office Chairs

Office chair castors can create repeated contact with the floor as you move between your desk and surrounding workspace.

The  chair mat provides a protective PVC layer between the chair and the flooring, helping reduce direct wear and scratching from everyday movement.

Its rectangular shape makes it suitable for positioning beneath a desk chair, with the clear finish allowing the original floor appearance to remain visible.

The product is marketed for light use. No independent impact-resistance or long-term durability testing is provided.

Frosted Surface with Anti-Slip Design

The mat features a frosted surface described by the manufacturer as providing grip while helping control chair movement.

This design is intended to balance chair mobility with surface traction during normal desk work.

However, the listing does not provide a measured slip-resistance rating or distinguish between the grip of the upper surface and the underside.

For general use, position the mat on a clean, dry, level floor and check that it remains flat and stable before using an office chair.

Designed for Hard Floors, Not Carpets

This clear PVC office chair mat is advertised for several hard flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, stone and concrete.

It is not recommended for carpet, so buyers with carpeted workspaces should choose a mat specifically designed for that surface.

Before ordering, check the floor manufacturer's guidance on PVC protectors. Some floor finishes may have restrictions concerning prolonged contact with plastic materials.

The source does not confirm compatibility with underfloor heating or provide information about potential discolouration on sensitive flooring.

Size & Selection Guidance

The product is advertised as 75 × 120cm, although another specification gives dimensions of 76.2 × 121.9cm.

These measurements are similar but not identical. Confirm the actual dimensions if the mat must fit within a restricted space.

The thickness also requires verification: the product description states 1.5mm, while the structured dimensions indicate 2mm.

Measure the area covered by your chair's normal movement, including how far you pull back from the desk, before choosing this floor protector.
