Available in two sizes, both with a stated thickness of 2mm, it offers a choice between a standard rectangular mat and a larger version with an additional foot section.

Features & Benefits

Carpet floor protection: Designed to reduce wear and damage caused by office chair castors and chair movement.

Easy-glide surface: Textured upper surface designed to allow office chairs to move across the mat.

Clear finish: Allows the colour and pattern of the carpet underneath to remain visible.

Two size options: Choose between a standard rectangular mat and a larger design with a separate foot section.

2mm thickness: Both advertised sizes have a stated thickness of 0.2cm.

High-impact-strength design: Marketed as resistant to cracking and shattering, although no independent impact testing is provided.

Home and office use: Intended for carpeted desk areas where rolling chairs are used regularly.

Choose the Right Chair Mat Size

The carpet protector is offered in two configurations to suit different desk arrangements.

76 × 122cm – Standard Rectangular Mat

The 76 × 122cm version has a rectangular design without a separate foot section.

It is intended for buyers who need a straightforward protective area beneath an office chair. Measure the space your chair occupies when pulled away from the desk to check whether this size provides sufficient coverage.

92 × 122cm – Mat with Foot Section

The 92 × 122cm version is described as having a separate section for the feet.

This option may be preferable where additional coverage is needed around the front of a desk. The listing does not provide the exact dimensions or shape of the foot section, so check the product layout before ordering.

Both variants are advertised with a thickness of 2mm.

Studded Backing for Low-Pile Carpets

The underside features studs intended to grip carpet fibres and help keep the mat positioned beneath a desk chair.

advertises the mat for carpet with a pile height of up to 6mm.

This makes carpet thickness an important buying consideration. The product is not confirmed as suitable for medium-pile carpet above 6mm, deep-pile carpet or thick rugs.

For best results, measure your carpet pile before purchasing and check that the mat lies flat when positioned on the floor.

Easy-Glide Surface for Office Chairs

The upper surface is described as textured and smooth enough to support rolling chair movement.

This design is intended to reduce resistance as the chair moves across the protected area, while the studded backing provides grip against the carpet underneath.

The supplier also advertises high impact strength and resistance to cracking. However, no load-capacity figures or independent durability tests are supplied.

Actual performance may vary depending on chair castors, user weight, carpet construction and frequency of use.

Clear Carpet Protection for Home Offices

The transparent design allows the carpet underneath to remain visible rather than covering it with an opaque floor mat.

The mat is intended to help protect carpet fibres from repeated contact with rolling chair castors and chair legs.

It is suitable for consideration in home offices, study areas and other carpeted workspaces where a desk chair is used.

Before ordering, confirm that your flooring is carpet rather than hardwood, laminate, vinyl or tile. This product is specifically advertised for carpeted floors, and compatibility with hard flooring has not been established.
