Dual-Fibre Surface for Dirt and Moisture Control

The  Nomad Aqua 45 features a dual-fibre tufted textile surface designed to collect dirt and moisture from footwear.

The combination of fibres is intended to help prevent debris from being carried further across indoor flooring, making the mat useful at entrances where shoes regularly bring in dust or dampness.

The source describes the matting as capable of retaining a substantial proportion of tracked-in dirt and moisture. However, no product-specific test results are supplied to verify a numerical retention percentage.

Slip-Resistant PVC Backing

The mat features a PVC backing designed to provide slip resistance on suitable floor surfaces.

This backing helps support the textile surface and is described as suitable for bonding and edging in entrance matting installations.

Actual grip depends on the underlying floor and installation conditions. No independently verified slip-resistance classification is included in the supplied listing.

Choosing the Right Entrance Mat

The 60 × 90cm dimensions provide 0.54m² of floor coverage, making this mat suitable for consideration at individual entrances and doorways.

The Nomad Aqua Series 45 is specifically described for low-traffic applications. For busy commercial entrances with consistently high footfall, a matting product rated for heavier traffic may be more appropriate.
