Absorbent Stone Surface for Bathroom Floors

The mat uses compressed diatomite, a porous mineral material designed to absorb moisture.

Positioned outside a shower or bathtub, it provides a dedicated standing area for wet feet and helps manage water transferred onto the floor.

The product is advertised as quick-drying, although no independently measured absorption capacity or drying time is provided.

Non-Slip Design and Placement

The mat is described as non-slip, but the source does not identify its backing material or the construction of its grip surface.

For everyday use, position it on a flat, stable bathroom floor and check that it sits securely before stepping onto it.

Its 60 × 39cm footprint should be checked against the available floor space. The 10mm thickness is also worth considering if the mat will be positioned near a door.

Cleaning and Care

The source lists machine washing and specifies do not tumble dry. However, because the product is described as a compressed stone mat, machine-washing suitability requires confirmation before these instructions can be recommended.

Until the correct care method is verified, follow the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the product.
