Absorbent Diatomite Surface

These bath mats use diatomaceous earth, a porous material designed to absorb moisture from wet feet.

The quick-drying design makes them suitable for repeated everyday use, although the listing does not provide a measured absorption capacity or drying time.

Unlike traditional fabric bath mats, the stone-based construction does not rely on a textile pile to absorb water.

Non-Slip Support for Indoor Floors

The source describes a separate non-slip mat supplied with each stone mat.

These supports are intended to help reduce unwanted movement when the stone mats are placed on suitable floor surfaces.

Before use, position each non-slip support correctly and check that the stone mat sits flat and securely. No independently tested slip-resistance rating or specific flooring compatibility is provided.

Where Can These Stone Mats Be Used?

The two-mat pack offers flexibility for different indoor locations.

In bathrooms, the mats can be positioned outside a bathtub or shower to absorb moisture from wet feet. They may also be used in suitable kitchen areas, entryways or beneath pet bowls, as suggested in the listing.

Before ordering, measure the intended floor space and ensure there is sufficient clearance around doors and nearby fixtures.

Cleaning and Maintenance

For routine cleaning, wipe the stone surface with a damp cloth or sponge and allow it to air dry.

The source also recommends rinsing away initial dust and describes a sanding tool for dealing with more persistent marks.

Machine washing is not specified. Follow the supplied care guidance and allow the mats to dry thoroughly between uses.
