Absorbent Surface for Bathroom Floors

The mat combines diatomaceous earth with natural fibres to create a surface designed to absorb moisture.

Placed outside a bathtub or shower, it provides a dedicated area for wet feet and helps manage water transferred onto the bathroom floor.

The product is advertised as quick-drying, although the source does not provide a measured drying time or absorption capacity.

Non-Slip Rubber Backing

The mat is supplied with rubber backing and is described as having additional non-slip pads.

These features are intended to help reduce unwanted movement when the mat is placed on a suitable floor.

For best placement, choose a flat, stable surface and check that the mat sits securely before stepping onto it. Grip performance on individual flooring materials is not specified.

Size and Placement Guidance

At 60 × 39cm, this stone bath mat provides a compact standing area suitable for consideration beside bathtubs, outside shower enclosures or near bathroom sinks.

Its 9mm thickness is worth considering when placing the mat near a door. Measure the available clearance rather than assuming the door will pass over it.

The listing also mentions kitchens and other indoor wet areas. Choose a location where the mat can sit flat and be maintained according to its care instructions.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The product is labelled hand wash only.

Clean it according to the supplied care instructions and allow it to dry thoroughly between uses.

Machine washing is not specified as an approved cleaning method. Avoid assuming that cleaning instructions for fabric bath mats apply to this stone-based product.
