Interlocking EVA Foam Gym Floor Mats – 36 Pack, 60 × 60cm

The  Interlocking EVA Foam Floor Mats provide a cushioned, modular flooring solution for home gyms, exercise areas, playrooms and other suitable indoor spaces. This pack contains 36 black foam tiles, each measuring 60 × 60cm with a thickness of 1cm (10mm).

The interlocking design allows the tiles to connect together to create a larger floor covering. Made from EVA foam, the mats are advertised as water-repellent, easy to clean and suitable for temporary flooring arrangements that can be assembled and dismantled as required.

Cushioned EVA Foam for Exercise and Floor Protection

The mats are made from EVA foam, providing a cushioned layer between the user and the underlying floor.

With a thickness of 10mm, the tiles are intended for activities such as general fitness, yoga and floor-based exercises.

The source also advertises sound absorption and protection against scratches and knocks. However, it does not provide measured acoustic performance, impact-resistance ratings or equipment load limits.

For heavy gym machines, dropped weights or specialist exercise equipment, confirm suitability before use.

Interlocking Design for Flexible Floor Coverage

Each square tile connects with neighbouring sections to create a larger matting area.

The 36-tile pack provides a nominal coverage of 12.96m², calculated from the stated dimensions of each tile.

For example, arranging the tiles in a six-by-six layout would produce a nominal area of 3.6m × 3.6m, before accounting for any edge pieces or fitting tolerances.

The listing states that each tile has two edges, but does not clearly explain whether these are detachable finishing strips. The exact edge-piece arrangement should be confirmed.

Suitable Applications

These interlocking foam mats are advertised for several uses.

Home gyms and fitness spaces: Cushioned flooring for suitable exercise and stretching activities.

Yoga and gymnastics: A connected foam surface for appropriate floor-based movements.

Playrooms: Modular floor coverage for children's rooms, subject to age suitability and product safety information.

Exercise equipment areas: Advertised for placement beneath exercise bikes and treadmills, although equipment compatibility and load limits are not specified.

Temporary flooring: Can be assembled and dismantled for suitable events, workspaces or recreational areas.

The source also mentions outdoor activities, pool areas and hot tubs. Suitability for prolonged outdoor exposure, wet surfaces and hot tub loads has not been established.

Cleaning and Storage

The foam tiles are described as water-repellent and easy to clean.

Remove loose dirt and wipe the surface using a cleaning method suitable for EVA foam. If moisture reaches the floor beneath the mats, lift the affected sections and allow the area to dry before reassembly.

The interlocking format allows the tiles to be separated for storage when not in use.
