EVA Foam Base with Rubber-Topped Surface

These gym floor tiles feature a layered construction consisting of EVA foam beneath a rubber surface.

The foam base is designed to provide cushioning during exercise, while the rubber topping forms the upper flooring surface.

The source describes the mats as dense and shock-absorbing, making them an option for general fitness activities and floor protection.

However, no measured impact-absorption rating, rubber-layer thickness or maximum load capacity is provided.

For heavy gym machines, dropped weights or equipment with concentrated contact points, confirm the manufacturer's performance specifications before installation.

Interlocking Tiles with Detachable Edges

The mats use an interlocking system that allows neighbouring sections to connect without a complicated assembly process.

Each tile includes two detachable edge pieces, which can be used to finish suitable exposed sides of the flooring layout.

The modular design also makes it possible to separate and rearrange the mats when changing the exercise area.

The source does not specify whether additional corner pieces or fixing accessories are supplied.

Suitable Applications

Home gyms: Create a cushioned exercise area for suitable workouts and fitness routines.

Yoga and Pilates: Provide a foam-based surface for stretching, floor exercises and controlled movements.

Playrooms: Arrange connected tiles to create a designated floor area, subject to appropriate product safety information and supervision.

Garages and sheds: Use the mats to define suitable exercise or utility spaces.

The product description also mentions heavy machinery, but no load-bearing or compression-resistance test results are supplied. Such applications should be verified separately.

Measuring Your Flooring Area

Each tile measures 62 × 62cm, providing a nominal area of 0.3844m².

For example, four tiles arranged in a two-by-two layout would have a nominal combined area of 1.5376m², before accounting for the interlocking edges or installation tolerances.

The supplied listing does not identify a fixed pack quantity. Confirm how many tiles are included with your selected purchasing option before calculating total coverage.

Also check whether the stated 62cm dimensions include the interlocking tabs or detachable edge pieces, as this may affect the final installed measurements.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The rubber-topped foam mats are advertised as easy to clean and waterproof.

For routine maintenance, remove loose debris and wipe the surface using a cleaning method suitable for both rubber and EVA foam.

Although the materials are described as waterproof, the source does not confirm that the joins between tiles create a watertight seal.

Avoid allowing moisture to remain trapped beneath the flooring, particularly on surfaces that may be affected by dampness.
