Description:

 Rubber Stable Mat 6ft x 4ft – 12mm Amoeba Equine Flooring

The  Rubber Stable Mat is designed to provide a cushioned, textured flooring surface for horse stables and equestrian environments. Measuring 6ft x 4ft (approximately 183 x 122cm) with a thickness of 12mm, this rubber mat features an Amoeba surface pattern and weighs approximately 26kg.

Its resilient rubber construction offers a practical alternative to direct contact with hard stable flooring, while the textured surface is designed to provide additional grip. The mat is also described as easy to sweep, helping make routine stable maintenance more manageable.

Each purchase includes one rubber stable mat, suitable for replacing an existing mat or covering part of a larger stable floor.

12mm Rubber Stable Mat for Horse Stables

The  Amoeba Rubber Stable Mat is intended for equestrian flooring applications where cushioning, grip and ease of maintenance are important.

Its 12mm rubber construction provides an elastic surface that can absorb some impact during standing and movement. This makes it different from a rigid concrete floor, although the level of impact absorption has not been independently quantified.

The Amoeba-patterned surface is designed to offer grip beneath horses' hooves. The manufacturer also describes the mat as having insulating and sound-dampening properties, which may contribute to a more comfortable stable environment.

The mat is intended to complement appropriate stable flooring and bedding arrangements rather than replace routine stable care.

Amoeba-Patterned Rubber Flooring for Horses

The Amoeba rubber stable mat features a textured surface intended to provide additional traction during standing and walking.

A textured rubber surface can be useful in stable environments where horses regularly move across the flooring. However, the listing does not include a tested slip-resistance rating, and the mat should not be regarded as slip-proof.

The rubber material also provides cushioning beneath the hooves. Although the original description makes claims about reducing injuries and preventing strain on joints and tendons, no veterinary studies or impact-performance measurements are supplied to establish those outcomes.

The mat should therefore be considered a resilient stable flooring product rather than a treatment or guaranteed injury-prevention measure.

Easy-to-Sweep Stable Flooring

The  stable mat is marketed as easy to sweep, making it suitable for routine removal of loose bedding, dirt and other surface debris.

Its rubber construction provides a defined flooring layer that can be maintained as part of regular stable cleaning.

The original description also refers to water permeability and quick drying. However, no drainage specifications, permeability measurements or underside construction details are provided.

Buyers should confirm the mat's drainage characteristics before installing it in areas where urine or wash water must pass through the flooring.

Regular cleaning and appropriate drainage remain important for stable hygiene, regardless of the flooring material.

Choosing the Right 6ft x 4ft Stable Mat

Before ordering, measure the stable floor and calculate how many mats are required.

Each mat covers approximately 2.23m², before allowing for any cutting, trimming or installation gaps. For larger areas, divide the total floor area by the coverage per mat and round up, allowing for the actual layout.

The mat weighs approximately 26kg, so consider how it will be moved and positioned during installation.

Check that the underlying floor is suitable for rubber matting and that the installation arrangement provides appropriate drainage.

The listing does not specify interlocking edges, fixing requirements or compatibility with particular subfloor materials. These details should be verified if the mat will form part of a permanent installation.

Only the 6ft x 4ft, 12mm-thick Amoeba version is confirmed. No alternative thicknesses, colours or sizes are identified.
