Smooth Rubber Flooring Roll – 5mm Thick, 1.5m Wide

The Smooth Rubber Flooring Roll is a black rubber floor covering designed for garages, workshops, vans, campervans and other domestic or commercial spaces.

Measuring 1.5m wide and 5mm thick, this flexible rubber matting is advertised in lengths of up to 15m. It provides a protective surface that can be cut to fit different floor layouts, workbenches and vehicle interiors.

Its cushioned construction is intended to offer a degree of impact absorption, while the smooth finish makes routine surface cleaning straightforward.

Features & Benefits

5mm rubber construction: Provides a cushioned protective layer over suitable existing surfaces.

1.5m wide coverage: Useful for covering larger areas while reducing the number of joins required.

Flexible, cut-to-fit material: Can be trimmed to accommodate corners, equipment and different floor layouts.

Shock-absorbing design: Advertised to help cushion everyday impacts and provide comfort underfoot.

Smooth surface: Offers a straightforward finish that can be wiped down for routine maintenance.

Multiple applications: Suitable for consideration in garages, workshops, sheds, vans, campervans and gyms.

Variable roll lengths: Advertised in lengths of up to 15m, allowing buyers to select coverage according to their requirements.

Smooth Surface for Practical Everyday Use

The structured product specifications identify a smooth black finish.

This makes the matting relevant for areas where a straightforward, wipe-clean rubber surface is preferred.

The description also refers to a coin pattern, creating uncertainty about the actual surface texture. Buyers should confirm the finish before ordering, particularly if a raised or textured grip pattern is required.

No tested slip-resistance rating is provided.

Suitable Applications

This rubber flooring is advertised for several uses:

Garages and workshops: A protective rubber covering for suitable working and storage areas.

Vans and campervans: Flexible matting that can be trimmed to match the required floor dimensions.

Gyms: Rubber floor coverage for appropriate exercise areas, subject to equipment weight and impact requirements.

Sheds and workbenches: A cut-to-fit surface for suitable floors and work areas.

The product is not supplied with confirmed vehicle-specific fitment information or a certified industrial performance rating.

Measuring and Installation Guidance

The roll has a fixed advertised width of 1.5m, while the length varies.

To estimate the required quantity, measure the intended area's length and width, then allow for trimming around edges and obstacles.

For example, a 1.5m × 10m section would cover 15m² before cutting, provided that length is available.

The source describes the material as easy to lay and cut but does not specify an approved adhesive, fixing system or subfloor preparation method.

Before installation, check that the underlying surface is suitable and that the rubber can be secured appropriately for the intended use.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The rubber matting is advertised as low-maintenance and suitable for wiping or washing.

For routine care, remove loose dirt and clean the surface using products appropriate for rubber. Follow any available manufacturer instructions before using detergents or substantial amounts of water.
