Description:

150W Electric Underfloor Heating Mat System 1–12m²

This electric underfloor heating mat system is designed for installation beneath suitable floor finishes to provide radiant floor heating. The source lists coverage options ranging from 1 m² to 12 m², allowing the mat size to be selected according to the area being heated.

The heating mat is 500 mm wide, operates from a 240 V mains supply, and uses a self-adhesive format to help position the mat during installation. It is intended for permanent floor installation as part of an electric underfloor heating system.

Key Features

Electric radiant floor heating: Designed to provide heat from beneath the finished floor.

1–12 m² size range: Available in different coverage sizes to suit different floor areas.

500 mm mat width: Provides a consistent width for planning the heating layout.

240 V operation: Designed for mains-powered installation.

Self-adhesive mat: Helps keep the heating mat positioned during fitting.

Floor-mounted system: Specifically designed for underfloor installation.

PVC construction: PVC is listed as the material in the supplied specifications.

Black finish: The mat is listed in black.

Hardwired installation: The supplied specifications identify hardwired and mains-powered use.

Choosing the Correct Mat Size

Select the mat according to the actual floor area that will be heated, rather than simply using the total dimensions of the room.

The source lists options from 1 m² up to 12 m², but does not provide the individual mat lengths for each coverage size. Because every version is listed as 500 mm wide, the overall length will vary according to the selected coverage.

Before ordering, calculate the intended heated floor area carefully and check the selected mat size against the installation layout.

Installation Considerations

This is a mains-powered underfloor heating product intended for permanent installation beneath a suitable floor surface.

The self-adhesive construction is designed to assist with positioning during installation. However, the supplied source does not specify compatible floor finishes, insulation requirements, adhesive or levelling compounds, thermostat requirements, or installation depth.

Electrical connection and installation should follow the manufacturer's instructions and applicable UK electrical requirements. Any hardwired electrical work should be completed by a suitably qualified person.

Heating Controls

The source lists variable heat settings and several possible control methods, including digital, dial, remote, app, touch and voice control.

However, these features appear to depend on the thermostat or controller used with the heating system, rather than being confirmed functions built into the mat itself. A thermostat is not clearly listed among the included items.

Buyers should therefore confirm which controller, if any, is supplied or required before ordering.
