Suitable Uses

The mat is primarily intended for placement beneath an air fryer. Its 60 x 40 cm dimensions provide room for a range of appliance footprints while creating a protective area around the base.

The supplied description also lists use beneath instant pots and slow cookers. Before ordering, measure your appliance base and available worktop space to make sure the mat fits comfortably without covering controls, vents or other areas that need clearance.

Worktop Protection

The silicone mat forms a barrier between the appliance and countertop, helping reduce direct exposure to heat and cooking spills.

The source describes the product as heat resistant, but does not provide a maximum temperature rating. Buyers should therefore follow the appliance manufacturer's clearance and surface-protection instructions.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The silicone surface is described as non-stick and easy to clean. Grease, food residue and spills can be wiped from the mat after use.

Allow the mat to cool where necessary before cleaning, and follow any care instructions supplied with the product.

Choosing the Right Fit

Before purchasing, check:

That the 60 x 40 cm size fits your worktop.

That your appliance base fits fully within the mat area.

That the mat will not obstruct appliance air vents or required clearances.

That the appliance manufacturer permits the use of a protective mat underneath the unit.

The source does not provide the mat thickness, maximum temperature rating or load capacity.
