Where Can These Rug Gripper Pads Be Used?

These pads are intended to help secure mats and rugs to clean, smooth surfaces. The source also identifies possible use on smooth walls, plastic, glass, metal and car interior surfaces.

For floor applications, they are most relevant where a rug or mat needs extra grip without using a thick underlay. The flat profile can be useful where you want to minimise additional height beneath the floor covering.

Before fitting, make sure the intended surface is smooth, clean and dry. The supplied product information does not confirm suitability for textured, porous or delicate surfaces.

How to Fit the Pads

Turn the rug or mat over and thoroughly vacuum or clean the underside to remove dust and loose debris.

Clean the floor or surface where each pad will be fitted and allow it to dry fully.

Remove the backing from the pad, position it where required and press firmly into place. Following these preparation steps can help provide a cleaner contact surface for the pad.

Choosing Between Black and White

The product is listed in black and white colour options. Both versions are described with the same 4 x 6 cm size, nylon material and 10-pad pack quantity.

Choose the colour according to where the gripper may be visible during fitting or repositioning. No performance difference between the black and white options is stated in the source.
