Where Can the Berkeley Mat Be Used?

The Berkeley Mat is intended for a range of everyday indoor and outdoor locations. Its compact 60 x 40 cm dimensions make it particularly suitable for entrances, doorways, kitchens, utility spaces and hallways where a smaller mat is required.

It is also listed for outdoor use on patios and porches, as well as in offices and shops. Before ordering, measure the intended area and check available door clearance to make sure the mat's size and profile are appropriate for your space.

Anti-Slip Rubber Backing

The underside of the mat has an anti-slip rubber backing designed to help keep it in position on a suitable floor surface.

For best placement, use the mat on a clean, stable floor and make sure both the floor and backing are free from loose dirt before positioning. As with any backed mat, suitability should be checked for the specific flooring underneath.

Cleaning and Care

Routine cleaning is simple. Loose dirt can be shaken from the mat or removed with a vacuum cleaner. For additional cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and allow it to dry before putting it back into use.

The polyester construction is described as easy to clean and quick drying, which can be useful in entrances, utility areas and other locations exposed to regular foot traffic or damp conditions.
