Universal Trim-to-Fit Design

These mats are not tailored to one specific vehicle. Instead, they use a universal shape with pre-marked trim guides.

This allows excess material to be cut away where needed to better match the shape of the vehicle footwell. Before cutting, place each mat in the intended position and compare it carefully with the available floor space.

Once material has been removed, it cannot be restored, so trim gradually rather than making large cuts immediately.

Floor Protection

The rubber surface is designed to provide a barrier between footwear and the original vehicle carpet.

Because the mats are waterproof, they can help contain everyday moisture, muddy footwear and minor spills rather than allowing them to soak directly into the underlying carpet.

The source describes the rubber as heavy duty, but no thickness, hardness or abrasion rating is supplied.

Anti-Slip Backing

The underside has a textured anti-slip design intended to help reduce shifting while the mats are in use.

For the driver's mat in particular, check that the mat sits flat and cannot interfere with the accelerator, brake or clutch pedals after fitting or trimming.

Universal mats should always be checked for secure positioning before the vehicle is driven.

Cleaning and Care

For routine cleaning, remove the mats from the vehicle and shake off loose dirt.

The waterproof rubber surface can be wiped or rinsed when required. Allow the mats to dry before reinstalling them in the vehicle.
