Portable Haemoglobin Monitoring

The analyser is designed to provide haemoglobin measurements without requiring a full-sized laboratory instrument.

Its compact format makes it suitable for consideration where portable testing equipment is needed. The supplier also describes built-in data storage, allowing users to review recorded measurements over time.

The listing claims rapid results and laboratory-grade accuracy, but does not provide a verified measurement range, accuracy specification, result time or supporting clinical performance data.

These characteristics should be confirmed from the manufacturer's technical documentation before relying on the device for medical monitoring.

Finger-Prick Testing Process

The kit uses a small blood sample collected with the supplied lancing equipment.

The included capillary rods and haemoglobin test strips are intended to support the sampling and measurement process.

Users should follow the manufacturer's instructions for sample collection, strip handling, device operation and disposal of used lancets.

Lancets and other single-use blood-contact components must not be shared or reused. The analyser's suitability for use by multiple people should be confirmed against its instructions, including any cleaning and infection-control requirements.

Important Medical and Buying Guidance

This product is marketed for personal haemoglobin monitoring and anaemia-related testing. However, a haemoglobin reading alone cannot establish the cause of anaemia or replace a clinical assessment.

Anyone concerned about low haemoglobin levels, anaemia symptoms or an unexpected result should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Before purchasing, verify the following essential details:

Test strip compatibility: Confirm that the supplied strips are compatible with the exact analyser model and that replacements are available.

Expiry dates: Check the expiry dates and storage conditions of all test strips and sampling consumables.

Device condition: Confirm that the analyser has not been used and that its measuring components are in suitable condition.

UK regulatory status: Confirm the device's applicable UK medical-device conformity requirements, labelling and intended-use classification before offering it for medical testing.

Measurement performance: Obtain the manufacturer's accuracy specifications, measuring range and instructions for interpreting results.
