Description:

SwarfScrape Mini-Scraper Rubber Mat 5ft x 3ft

The SwarfScrape Mini-Scraper rubber mat is a black, rectangular work floor mat designed for workshops, factories, garages, shops and other suitable commercial or residential areas. Measuring 1500 x 900mm (5ft x 3ft) and 8mm thick, it covers approximately 1.35m².

Made from rubber, the mat is listed with anti-fatigue and cushioning features. Its loose-lay installation means no underlay is specified as necessary, making it a practical option for defined standing and working areas on solid floors.

8mm Rubber Mat for Work and Commercial Areas

At 8mm thick, this mat provides a rubber layer over the underlying floor and is specifically listed as having cushioning and anti-fatigue characteristics. These features make it relevant for work areas where people spend periods standing, although no quantified ergonomic or fatigue-reduction performance is provided.

The mat measures 1.5m long by 0.9m wide, giving a total stated coverage of 1.35m². Its 9kg weight and single-piece rectangular construction should be considered when planning placement or repositioning.

The supplied specifications list the mat for factories, workshops, garages, shops, basements and other commercial or residential settings.

Choosing the Right Work Floor Mat

The 5ft x 3ft footprint makes this mat suitable for creating a defined floor area rather than covering an entire workshop or room. Before ordering, measure the intended space and confirm that the 1500 x 900mm dimensions provide the coverage you require.

Its 8mm thickness should also be considered where the mat will sit near doors, equipment or other areas with restricted floor clearance.

The source lists loose-lay installation over a solid floor and states that no underlay is required. Although another specification says it installs over “any” subfloor, buyers should assess the condition and suitability of their particular floor before installation.
